Number of 100% Rated Movies: 14 If Akira Kurosawa and Ingmar Bergman ending their careers with around 60 titles under their belt sounds impressive they have nothing on John Ford - Ford's 50 year career saw him direct more than 140 movies and was named as one of the greatest directors of all time by the likes of Bergman and Orson Welles. Most famous for his Westerns and his frequent collaborations with John Wayne - their early movie Stagecoach gets a well-deserved 100% rating and partly inspired elements of the latest installment to the Mad Max franchise, Fury Road - Ford's first string of classics from 1936 to 1941 has sometimes been attributed to an affair between the director and Katherine Hepburn. In the space of two years alone there are four Ford movies rated 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, surely a feat which no other director has ever matched.
