4. Plissken Surfs A Tsunami - Escape From L.A.
Escape From L.A. is a vastly inferior movie to the original jaunt in New York, but it's still got its share of badass and outrageous moments, the most memorable of which has grizzled hero Plissken (Kurt Russell) surfing a tidal wave on a surfboard, which is ridiculous enough in of itself, before he then leaps from the board onto the back of a moving car - driven by Steve Buscemi - with unwavering ease. While the original film had its share of absurdities, this was just too much, taking Snake from the realms of surreal awesomeness to downright silliness. Is it funny? Sure. But is Snake still a badass, with that ridiculous Hawaiian-style music playing? Absolutely not.
