9. Many Of Jigsaw's Tests Make No Sense - Saw

The Saw films were based on a brilliant premise and Jigsaw is a fascinating character, but he is also irritatingly inconsistent in his ideas. His tests are meant to be about justice and giving everyone a chance, but he doesn't follow these values at all.

For starters, many of Jigsaw's victims are only responsible for minor crimes or mistakes and simply don't deserve one of his traps. Easily the worst example of this is Detective Rigg from Saw IV, who goes through a hellish and ultimately fatal test purely because he's impatient and obsessed with saving his friend from Jigsaw's clutches. Since when is that a crime?

Similarly, Jigsaw's tests don't give everyone a chance at all and several completely innocent people not only end up in the traps, but have their fate left in someone else's hands. For example, in Saw VI, health insurance executive William plays a game where a lot of innocent people who just happened to work in his building are stuck in the traps with him being in control of their fate; quite a few of them die as well.

Make no mistake, Jigsaw is one of cinema's biggest hypocrites.
