6. Ben Grimm Was Almost A Skin/Rock Hybrid

In the same pair of Fantastic Four movies that the aforementioned Doctor Doom appeared in, the same concept artist - Constantine Sekeris - produced some equally bizarre art for a potential version of Ben Grimm AKA the Thing. Sekeris' Ben Grimm was a bizarre hybrid of rock and flesh - which looked pretty hideous and quite terrifying, to be honest - with asymmetrical rocky protrusions that almost resembled tumours. It would have been very hard to accept such a monstrous-looking character as a hero and, as cheesy as Michael Chiklis' version of the character was, it was a lot better than this version could ever have possibly been.
