3. There May Be Plans For Kraven The Hunter In The MCU
When Marvel Studios renegotiated a deal with Sony Pictures to keep Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kevin Feige mentioned that the wall-crawler "happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes." That would explain those references to the hero in the recent trailer for Morbius and now it seems like Kraven the Hunter will also help bridge that gap.
According to The Illuminerdi, Sony's planned Kraven movie will feature a version of the classic villain who has "superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility and reflexes." It's added that the "maniacal big-game hunter seeks to defeat Spider-Man to prove that he is the greatest hunter in the world."
In other words, the movie will feature Kraven attempting to track down the web-slinger and prove himself the bigger man, something which could tie in neatly to the fact Peter Parker is now a wanted man after being framed for the murder of Mysterio. Spidey wouldn't necessarily have to even appear here but it sounds like this origin story could bridge the gap between these two worlds and make Kraven part of the MCU as a result.
