The Transformers have been disappointing since...the first one. Shia LeBeouf!? Come on! None of the Transformers movies are partcularly good and the quality is decreasing with each installment while the length of each film is going up. The last film, Age of Ex-stink-tion was so long that even Marky Mark started to look bored. Long movies are great when they have a good story to tell, this was not one of those movies.

Little is known about the plot apart from the fact that King Arthur...yes, King Arthur has appeared again, will be involved somehow (no doubt at the very beginning) and you can all but guarantee that the change-em-up robots will be tracking down some nondescript Macguffin to save Earth or Cybertron or both.

What's sure to follow is a bunch of explosions and tedious action sequences clumsily placed between aerial shots of sports cars and upskirt shots of women. It's baffling that people still pay to see this sh*t.

Why the Transformers films are still surrounded by so much hype is anyone's guess but a sure-fire certainty is that it will be exploding garbage.
