10 MCU Characters Who Are Skipping Infinity War
6. Aunt May
Between Jacob Batalan and Isabella Amara, Spider-Man: Homecoming supporting cast members will be in no short supply in Avengers: Infinity War, but a major one won't be showing up.
Marisa Tomei has confirmed that her younger version of Aunt May is not appearing in the next Avengers movie, which means Peter Parker will have to get his parental love and guidance elsewhere, and Tony Stark will need somebody else to flirt with.
Although a Spider-Man movie without Aunt May is unheard of, it would have been more surprising if she was in Infinity War. The movie is set to be cosmic in scale, and Spidey is unlikely to be spending much time in civilian mode.
There's always the possibility that Marvel will bring Tomei in for a last-minute cameo during reshoots, but as things stand, she won't be seen in the MCU again until 2019's Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel.
