This one's a little bit different, but it's still a fascinating insight into how much time is spent getting every single aspect of an MCU movie right.

Avengers: Endgame's terrific credits sequence pays homage to the original six Avengers, with the signatures of actors Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, and Chris Hemsworth being painted onto the screen, while footage of their iconic moments plays in the background.

It feels simple yet epic all at the same time, and perhaps unsurprisingly, it took many, many revisions and tweaks in order to perfect that final render.

Over on its website, the team responsible for bringing this sequence to life (Perception) shared a look at the creative process, including several early ideas that were eventually scrapped. These include a version of the credits that feels a lot more like the pages of a comic-book...

In the end, Perception used a combination of their scrapped ideas in order to create the final sequence, with the goal being to honour the incredible legacy that the MCU has created. Mission accomplished!

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
