9. Nightmare Will Be The Villain In Doctor Strange 2

Despite the fact that Karl Mordo ended the first Doctor Strange movie vowing to kill all sorcerors to help ensure that the balance of the universe would be eternally preserved, it looks like he's not going to be the big bad of the Strange sequel.

As the "Madness" of the title suggests, the film will reportedly take Strange - and Scarlet Witch - to the Realm Of Madness, which sits next to the Dream Dimension - otherwise known as the realm under Nightmare's control.

We've already heard that Scott Derrickson wants to add the villain to his sequel - courtesy of writer C Robert Cargill - and thanks to a new rumour, it seems that the director wants to bring in David Tennant to play the bad guy.

Somewhat less surprisingly, that same rumour source suggests that The Ancient One will return (presumably as some sort of projection) and also that Quicksilver will. If we're heading into the Realm Of Madness, could it be that both of them are ghosts used by Nightmare to torment his enemies? That would certainly fit.
