10. We Need To Meet Mary Jane Watson

It's something of a shocker that, two films down, we're yet to meet Peter's most famous girlfriend of all, Mary Jane Watson. Sure, there are comic book purists out there who will argue that Gwen Stacy is - and always will be - the love of Spider-Man's life, but given that she's... well, dead, the third film in the trilogy is tasked with introducing this character in a way that feels natural. Peter, of course, will still be suffering from the fallout of Gwen's sad death. It's true, however, that we should probably be grateful to the producers and writers behind the first two Amazing Spider-Man movies for their patience regarding Mary Jane Watson. Had they made the decision to include her in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, admist all the other plot lines, there would have been a high chance that she might've been overwhelmed by everything else that was going on. Still, it's time now: 2018 means that it's time to meet MJ.
