Here's another movie with a great theme you can hum, and it kicks off right from the opening scene.

This track plays a few minutes into the film. After Raleigh's opening narration gives us the backstory, we cut to the crew getting ready to board the Gipsy Danger and take out some Kaiju. The music here is timed so well with the narration, like it's responding to what Raleigh is saying. At about 20 seconds into this track, Raleigh says "It turns out, we had a unique skill: We were drift compatible." And then that classic theme kicks in, and it gets more and more exciting as we get our first images inside Gipsy.

Hell yes.

The movie itself is such fun, mindless excitement, and this score perfectly matches that. It continues throughout all the battles, and the music is a huge part of what makes some of the Kaiju fights so exciting. It isn't subtle in any way, but to get our blood pumping and ready to kick some Kaiju ass, this is a great, memorable score that totally fits the film.
