10 Modern Movie Soundtracks That Are Better Than The Film

Holy crap. Talk about a score to get your blood pumping.

Mad Max: Fury Road is one of the absolute most insane, exciting action films ever made, and the soundtrack itself is just as memorable. It's in your face and overwhelming, and even listening to it without the context of the movie, it's almost guaranteed to raise your heart rate at least a little bit.

What's great about this one is that music is actually integrated into the plot of the movie, and some of the score is diegetic sound. There's a flame-throwing guitarist character playing along as everyone's ramming into each other and blowing each other up, because why not? Then of course there's the beating of the drums to rile everyone up.

Just the way the music in the actual film excites the characters and gets them ready to kick some ass, the score by Tom Holkenborg has that same effect on us. It's just as mad as the rest of the movie.
