While he's best known for playing fan favourite Zed in the Police Academy franchise, Bobcat Goldthwaite has quietly amassed quite the impressive directing CV over the years.

Drenched in satire, 1991's Chuckles the Clown and 2011's God Bless America are fantastic movies of Goldthwaite's that likely need more attention from the masses, and the same can be said for his 2013 picture, Willow Creek.

A Bigfoot enthusiast in real life, Goldthwaite's first venture into horror put the Sasquatch legend in the spotlight. This found footage feature sees partners Jim and Kelly looking to seek out Bigfoot, and their quest ends pretty darn brutally.

Of course, as any Bigfoot aficionado is aware, the purported hotspot for any BF activity is Willow Creek in Humboldt County - the location of that famed Patterson–Gimlin footage - and so that's where our lead characters head.

As this movie enters its frantic final act, Jim and Kelly are trapped in their tent as something awaits them outside. Deciding to make a break for it, the couple's escape plan is bizarrely halted by a naked woman, as Jim ends up killed by what is believed to be a Bigfoot.

For Kelly, an even worse fate is awaiting, as the implication is that she is to become a sex slave for the scarce few remaining's Sasquatches who wish to repopulate.
