Horror fans should know it's always risky to blindly trust the Nice Guy, especially if they're also a love interest, as they certainly found out in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

And let's be honest, with a name like "Will Benson" - as in, Will, son of Ben, the first film's hook-handed killer - he was basically begging both viewers and the sequel's characters alike to piece it all together.

But Will's good looks and easy-going demeanour nevertheless allowed him to shake off suspect status with surprising ease, no matter that this movie released in the shadow of Scream, which explicitly told audiences to always, always point a finger at the romantic prospects.

And indeed, behind those dreamy eyes was a raging psychopath keen to help his inexplicably still-alive father (Muse Watson) get revenge on Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and her friends.
