The majority of the entries on this list revolve around famous faces appearing on screen before they were actually famous faces. That's not true for all of them, however, as some went unnoticed in exactly the place you'd be likely to find them.

Played by Matthew Lillard in 1996, Stu Macher has been a huge part of the Scream franchise. He was Billy Loomis' (Skeet Ulrich) Ghostface sidekick, Scream's final showdown happened in his house, which has since become an iconic location for fans of the in-universe Stab movies, his nephew was killed off in Scream (2022), and there was the uncertainty of whether he was actually still alive in Scream 7.

Of course, he wasn't still alive - he had been thoroughly killed back in 1996 - but that didn't stop Lillard from appearing in a Scream film again, even before the most recent one. Yes, in spite of his character being killed off the year before, Matthew Lillard showed his face in Scream 2.

The actor was friends with the entire cast of the sequel, and when he visited them on set, Wes Craven had the idea to have him walk through the background of a party, for no other reason than it would be fun.
