10 More Huge Actors You Didn’t Notice As Extras In Movies

There are certain actors whose names are as recognisable as their faces, and who rose to the top of the pile quickly and stayed there for song that having them go unnoticed in a movie is all but unthinkable. Hell, having them as anything but the lead is strange.

This is most certainly the case with Sylvester Stallone. Rising to fame as the writer and star of Rocky in 1976, Sly became an instant success, which continued through to him being one of the action stars of the 1980s.

The living legend is still just as relevant today with his role in the Creed franchise, Tulsa King, The Expendables, and more. And yet, as insane as it may seem, there was once a time when no one knew who the Italian Stallion was.

Stallone can be seen in Woody Allen's 1971 effort, Bananas, as a thug on the subway. He is one of two who harass everyone on the train before targeting Allen specifically. Just five years away from immortalising Rocky Balboa on screen, no one at the time would have looked at the man twice, let alone realised the Hollywood royalty he was destined to become.
