Everybody has something that inspires a feeling of genuine dread and fear in their souls. And in the case of Jonah Hill, that thing just so happens to be the sight of an incoming feathered creature.

Yet, while many are able to escape having to come face-to-face with their worst nightmare on the job, the 22 Jump Street star wasn't so lucky during the opening stages of that undercover comedy follow-up.

You'll no doubt remember, after Channing Tatum's immediately immortalised "My name is Jeff" delivery, of course, that Hill's Schmidt lets loose a side-splitting scream as the pair find themselves having to contend with a bunch of escaped critters on the back of a moving lorry... as you do.

Only, the actor himself would eventually note on Conan that this wasn't him letting loose an in-character howl, this was about as real a cry of terror as it gets, with Hill recalling a similar story of getting attacked by a bird in front of his girlfriend-at-the-time's family a few years earlier and unleashing an identical scream for help in the moment.

So, the next time you take in this thrilling Jump Street set-piece, do so with the knowledge of Hill very much losing his sh*t in the back of that lorry for realsies.
