10 More Movies Where The Reshoots Were Painfully Obvious

It's decidedly less common for comedy movies to get substantial reshoots, and generally they're employed simply to connect takes together that don't quite fit - usually due to improv - or to fine-tune jokes that didn't fully land during test screenings.

Beverly Hills Ninja was the final film Chris Farley released during his lifetime, and once principal photography had wrapped, the troubled actor's substance issues sadly returned with a relapse, reportedly due to anxiety over how the movie would be received.

By the time Farley returned for reshoots, he was noticeably larger in size due to the relapse, as is obvious throughout the film without needing to look for it too much.

The film ultimately ended up tanking critically and commercially, and Farley tragically died of a drug overdose less than a year later. For the film's many faults, it certainly has its cult of fans, one being none other than Christian Bale.
