10 More Star Wars Mistakes You Can't Unsee

7. Lando's Flipping Costume - Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi

Back to some of those odd times when the items of clothing some of the galaxy's greatest heroes were wearing swiftly opted to alter themselves mid-scene.

As the Rebel Alliance get ready to take down the second Death Star in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, Han Solo reluctantly tells his old pal Lando Calrissian to use the Millennium Falcon during the incoming assault on the space station.

And its during this warm conversation between two mates who aren't sure whether or not this will be the last time they see one another when the general's outfit decided to randomly reverse.

Lando clearly goes from having his insignia on his left and holster strap hanging over his right shoulder when he walks into the Rebel hanger, to the opposite bizarrely being true as he wishes his friend good luck.

For whatever reason, it's clear the filmmakers simply decided to flip the shot here. And while that may have helped solve an issue during the editing process, it also resulted in a pretty blatant continuity error in the finished article.
