You no doubt already know that shooting a film that relies heavily on digital effects isn't always a glamorous experience. After all, acting opposite tennis balls and pretending to use mystical powers that will only be added in during post-production can be a tad embarrassing on set.

But what you may not be aware of, is just how humiliating shooting one specific moment in Episode III - Revenge of the Sith was for Obi-Wan Kenobi himself, Ewan McGregor.

Knowing that he was going to shoot the all-important moment when his Jedi Master would hand baby Luke Skywalker over to his Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru on Tatooine, the excited actor invited his mates to come watch.

With that scene involving Kenobi getting off and on an eopie, though, McGregor soon found himself being plonked on a big green box. And rather than helping the actor by moving the block that would be swapped out for the alien creature later on, the star was forced to do his own awkward swaying.

Oh, but it gets worse.

Along with the cast having no clue where to look when George Lucas shouted out for them to "look at the moons!" due to the whole set being one big green screen, McGregor also had zero clue whether his ride had turned around or not before hopping back on - unsurprisingly, that awkward moment didn't make the cut.

It all made for a hell of an embarrassing but rather comical day at the office, and you'll now never be able to get the image of an awkward McGregor on his green block - in front of his pals - out of your head whenever you watch him dismount during this big moment.
