2. Hayden Christensen Was Responsible For Vader's Sith Eyes

The sight of a fallen Anakin Skywalker's eyes turning yellow and red with anger during Episode III - Revenge of the Sith is one of the most iconic visuals of the entire Skywalker Saga.

So, it's one hell of a shock to discover that this wasn't even originally part of George Lucas' master plan.

The bloke bringing the legend to life on-screen himself, Hayden Christensen, would eventually reveal to Empire that it was he who first brought up the idea of Ani going full yellow eyes of fury to the director, with there originally being no mention of them.

But when talking about potentially having Skywalker's eyes turn into Sith ones during the scene when he slices Mace Windu's arm off, arguing that Maul and Sidious' eyes both went yellow and red, Lucas replied by stating Dooku's didn't.

And the actor thought that was that.

However, a few days later, the director ultimately decided he was into the idea, but not for that particular moment. Instead, the yellow and red Skywalker eyes would first show up on Mustafar as he cut through the Separatists.

Without Christensen's initial pitch, though, we may currently be living in a world without a Sith-eyed Anakin.
