Remember when Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi made his way over to the Hong Kong-inspired Daiyu as he looked to rescue a young Princess Leia in his long-awaited Disney+ series?

Well, it was here when the Jedi Master found himself being offered some spice by a pink-haired dealer known as Tetha Grig.

But this wasn't actually just a random new young star looking to make a name for themselves in a big Star Wars TV show. You may be shocked to learn that this was McGregor's own real-life daughter Esther Rose McGregor making her galaxy far, far away debut.

Hilariously, Esther even tells her own real-life father in the scene "I was someone's daughter once, too," with the exchange becoming that little bit more surreal once you realise you're actually watching an all-McGregor father-daughter moment going down on-screen.

And in case you're wondering whether she simply landed the gig because of her Force-user father, the Obi-Wan actor later confirmed that Esther very much had to audition for the part, claiming she was the best person for the role and it was just a coincidence that she was his daughter.
