In New Zealand horror-comedy Black Sheep, meek farm worker Henry discovers his deranged brother, Angus, is turning his sheep into carnivorous zombies... because, hey, why not?

However, these zombies work differently to the usual types (and not just because they're farm animals). If anyone is bitten by these wooly fiends, they don't turn into a zombie... they turn into a sheep!

Of course, this nasty side-effect isn't apparent at first. So, when Henry's friend Tucker gets gnawed on by one of these critters, it's assumed he'll turn into a traditional ghoul. When Tucker takes off his shoe, everyone is astonished to see his foot has turned into a furry hoof.

But it gets worse. When Henry hears shearing from a nearby barn, he heads in to investigate. Upon entering, he sees a local, Grant, has fully transformed into a gigantic weresheep and is currently cutting his wool off.

The film's premise is ludicrous, but moments like this are surprisingly unnerving. Not only do the sheeple look creepy as hell, the fact Grant is shaving his fleece proves his human intellect is still intact, making his furry metamorphosis far more depressing.
