In Korean thriller Train to Busan, Sok-woo and his daughter board an express train, oblivious that a zombie virus has broken out in the area. After a passenger gets infected, it isn't long before the majority of the train are zombified, forcing Sok-woo and his child to do everything they can to survive.

Even though the zombies are petrifying, nothing is as unsettling as the prologue. Train to Busan kicks off with a trucker crashing into a tiny deer. With blood slathered across the road, it's clear no ordinary creature could survive the impact.

But as is revealed immediately after, this is no ordinary creature. When the trucker drives off, the roadkill begins moving, proving it's still alive. At least, in a manner of speaking. After convulsing and flopping around in an unnatural manner, the little fawn rises to its feet.

Cutting to a close-up, the deer's eyes are shown to be pure white, proving the animal isn't just dead, but undead. As the ominous music plays in the background, the mindless deer looks straight at the camera before Train to Busan's cuts to its title screen.

The scene lasts no longer than 30 seconds, but gets under your skin straight away.
