10 More Upcoming Movies That Are In Big Trouble
4. Kraven The Hunter
Sony's Spider-Man Universe has also been hit with multiple delays recently, with the likes of Madame Web and Kraven the Hunter both being nudged back a few months for reasons the studio didn't choose to divulge at the time of announcing the news.
But reports of Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige warning Sony not to get too far ahead of themselves when it comes to forging their own sprawling cinematic universe in the same vein as his MCU, may just have forced a bit of a rethink when it comes to the studio's next round of super-flicks.
And the fact fans have already been quick to jump on Aaron Taylor-Johnson's recent controversial comments of his Kraven the Hunter character in particular being an "animal lover and a protector of the natural world” can't have helped matters either.
Though it's worth noting that the star would later backtrack and state his words were taken out of context, noting he was actually "going to be the hunter that we all want to see".
However, the all-round flop that was Morbius, coupled with some of the folks behind the Kraven script (Art Marcum and Matt Holloway) also being responsible for the likes of the recent limp Uncharted adaptation and rewrite for that aforementioned Morbius debacle, doesn't offer up much hope for this Hunter being able to keep the sinking Sony Spidey ship afloat come October 2023.
