10 Most Badass Movie Death Scenes Of All Time

Sean Bean dies in his films about as consistently as the sun rises in the morning. Very few actors die as often - or as iconically - as Bean. To date, the man has racked up at least 25 onscreen deaths. Though none of them can quite stack up to the way he goes out in The Lord Of The Rings.

And while it's no small task deciding which of Bean's onscreen deaths is the most badass, it may be even harder giving that distinction to just one death scene from this franchise. Ultimately, though, it has to be Boromir's. He essentially reenacts the Black Knight "flesh wound" scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but with a much more dramatic bent.

Boromir takes three arrows to the chest but continues to wreak havoc on the pack of Orcs all the while, defending Merry and Pippin until his dying breath.

When that first arrow strikes his heart, you would rightfully assume that to be the end of poor Boromir. But no, he continues slashing and stabbing his way through the Orcs. And after the second arrow digs into his stomach, it's almost as if the damn things are giving him more power. Even after the third and final piercing, he refuses to lay down and die.

That, my friends, is one badass warrior.
