10 Most Dangerous Cinematic Aliens

3. Life (2017) - Calvin

Alien Xenomorph
Columbia Pictures

Starting out as an innocuous blob named Calvin by the Earth’s school children, this alien outwits the entire International Space Station crew using guile and self-preservation instincts.

When the Space Station crew retrieve a space probe carrying Mars soil samples and revive a cell, it quickly develops into a multicellular life form. Once Calvin senses a threat, it breaks free and goes after the crew in crafty and deceptive ways.

Life gives us some of the goriest and most horrifying kills by a space creature that we have seen in a while and it is disconcerting that Calvin is always two steps ahead of arguably the most intelligent people on the planet.

The alien seems to possess an intuitive knowledge of the Space Station and its scientists and is able to stealthily maneuver the craft’s labyrinthine design, eliminating the crew as though removing chess pieces off the board.

As the film’s exobiologist discovers early on, Calvin’s cells can also assume muscle, sensor and neuron roles, making it even more efficient and unpredictable.

Natasha Lopusina hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
