10 Most Disappointing Sequels Ever

8. Ocean's Twelve

OceansTwelve Steven Soderbergh hit the jackpot with Ocean's Eleven, a stunning cast and some super stylish heist shenanigans led to a thoroughly enjoyable experience in the cinema. The idea of doing it again but with even more star power was obvious and one that somehow they managed to balls up. It just isn't quite as clever or as cool and setting sequels in Europe is almost always a kiss of death (good time to mention I fully expect The Muppets sequel to be added to this list at some point) and then when Julia Roberts has to pretend to be Julia Roberts, if it hadn't already, the penny finally drops and you realise that this is a rubbish film. None of the wit and charm of the original makes it to the sequel despite being made by pretty much the exact same people. Not the worst film in existence by any stretch, but good God it just isn't a patch on the first film.
