Superhero Movie follows in the footsteps of the Scary Movie series of comedies, this time taking a look at the ever growing superhero movie genre. The film isn't particular good or even that memorable but it did give us one of the final performances of comedic legend Leslie Nielsen before his untimely death in 2010. While the story parodied films like Batman Begins, X-Men, and Fantastic Four; Spider-Man was its main focus. Nielsen plays Uncle Albert who, as you could probably guess, is a spin on Uncle Ben from the Spider-Man films. Nielsen brings his usual amount of comic timing and intricate idiocracies to an otherwise lame spoof movie. One scene in particular features Uncle Albert learning that his nephew has superpowers and before he even has a chance to explain he stabs him in the stomach with a butchers knife to verify the transformation. And then when his nephew hits him with the infamous "You're not my father" line, the response is comic gold: "I love you like your father did! I believe in you like your father did! I had sex with your mother, just like your father did!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AK-o-DJyRZM
