10 Most Entertaining Bad Guys In Action Movie History

10. William Strannix (Under Siege)

Basically a watered-down "Die Hard on a boat," Under Siege is the movie that really put Steven Seagal's brooding, semi-mystical action style over with mainstream audiences. But most of the heavy lifting was done by the bad guy tandem of Gary Busey and Tommy Lee Jones. It's rare to see Jones play a role with this much obvious elation, and the dude hams it up like he's half pig. (But trying to out-crazy Gary Busey will do that to a person.) Essentially a rock and roll terrorist, Jones gets to spend most of the movie speechifying about revolutions and lamenting how he missed out on the 60s' Peace and Love movement because he was too busy acting as a hammerhead for the CIA. Plus, he ultimately meets his maker with a thumb through the eyeball and a knife through the skull. That has to rank pretty highly on the list of cool ways for bad guys to die.
