10 Most Insane Cameos In Recent Movies
8. Isla Fisher - Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy
The fourth and apparently final entry into the Bridget Jones franchise, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, is a rather star-studded affair, yet one of its most prominent names shows up in the film for all of about 10 seconds.
About 20 minutes into the movie, as Bridget (Renee Zellweger) is leaving her house with her children, we briefly see Bridget's fancy new neighbour Rebecca angrily shouting down at her own children from her bedroom window, and said neighbour is played by none other than Isla Fisher.
When Fisher was first announced to be part of the cast, many surely expected her to have a major supporting role, perhaps as one of Bridget's new friends, and honestly, she seemed like a perfect fit for that sort of part.
And so, many were baffled that Fisher turned up for an absolute nothingburger of a role, causing much speculation that most of her scenes were left on the cutting room floor.
But director Michael Morris confirmed at the film's premiere that Fisher simply did the production a "massive favour" by agreeing to fill the small role, and that the tiny part is indeed all she shot for the production.
