Although zombies are (obviously) the main stars of zombie apocalypse movies, there's very rarely any character development and we very rarely have any empathy or sympathy towards them. It is generally the human characters that we relate to and remember more than the undead ones, with the zombies tending to merge in to generic hordes that we consider to be a collective foe and nothing more than cannon fodder. However, every once in a while there will be a zombie that we specifically remember for one reason or another and they are the characters we'll be celebrating in this particular article.
