10 Most Messed Up Horror Movie Families

5. Chucky, Tiffany And Glen - Seed Of Chucky

Seed Of Chucky
Rogue Pictures

To many, Seed of Chucky is viewed as the Child's Play movie that saw the franchise really jump the shark - as reflected by how the series went on hiatus for nine years until 2013's Curse of Chucky.

Still, there's no denying that Seed of Chucky is pure dumb horror fun. And let's face it, that's something we can all do with a little dollop of from time to time.

While its predecessor, 1998's Bride of Chucky, introduced Charles Lee Ray's former girlfriend Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) and placed her soul inside a doll, Seed of Chucky went one further and brought Chucky and Tiffany's child fully into the fold.

That offspring was introduced during the closing moments of Bride of Chucky, and Seed had Glen (or Glenda) realise that he's the child of Chucky and Tiffany - and thus he embarks on a mission to bring his parents back to life.

In Seed of Chucky, we see Chucky and Tiffany happy to create carnage, as per usual, yet it's genuinely shocking when Glen finally embraces his roots and beheads his old man in the film's final act. Up until that point, the oft-innocent Glen had steered clear of murder - with any death caused by Glen previously assigned to the Glenda soul that also resides within his body.
