3. Iron Man Leaves Earth

Wondering why Doctor Strange would step up to lead a team of New Avengers? Well, Iron Man is apparently left so disillusioned and horrified by Captain America's murder that he decides to leave the planet. Perhaps he does so to try and find the Hulk or an explanation behind his vision in Age of Ultron, but it sounds like Tony Stark is off the table for Phase 3. With Thor: Ragnarok set to leave the God of Thunder in some sort of galactic prison after trying to take down Thanos single handedly, it appears as if Phase 3 is going to be all about the new heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with classic Avengers like Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor all taken off the board...for a little while at least anyway.
