The leaked script apparently didn't name Blofeld once, but rumours persist that Christoph Waltz is indeed playing that iconic villain in Spectre. Based on what's been rumoured, think of it as a "big twist" reveal as unsurprising as Liam Neeson being Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins or Benedict Cumberbatch's John Harrison being Khan in Star Trek Into Darkness. It's thought that his Oberhauser identity will be just a ruse (though he must have gone by that name as a youngster at least), but details on how his true identity will be revealed are scarce. The name Heinrich Stockmann has also been thrown around in association with Waltz too, so there's a lot of confusion right now. Chances are though he will be Blofeld.
