Rotten Tomatoes Score: 74% In so many ways, Neighbours pretty much squanders the potential of its premise. Despite featuring a wonderful cast, including the likes of Seth Rogen, the always impressive Rose Byrne, and former High School Musical dreamboat Zac Efron, it's hard to escape the feeling that, ultimately, this comedy could have done a lot more than recycled the same tired tropes that we've witnessed over and over again in these Judd Apatow-inspired comedy vehicles. That's to say, Neighbours has been relatively well-received by critics, who have bestowed a worthwhile 74% on the flick over at Rotten Tomatoes. But really Neighbours isn't very much like a movie at all - it's more of a loose, 90 minute gag reel, with little coherency or structure to the action. Is some of it funny? Of course, but it's also frustrating to watch because the filmmakers show zero discipline. Neighbours is, essentially, one long, farcical ramble.
