10 Most Paused Moments In DCEU History
1. Is That Christopher Reeve? - Man Of Steel
Before Henry Cavill eventually also became synonymous with the role on the back of his hit-and-miss time as part of the DCEU, it was Christopher Reeve who sprung to most folks' minds when talking about Superman on the big screen.
Leading arguably two of the greatest superhero movies ever made in the likes of 1978's Superman and its first sequel, it's not hard to see why many would still adamantly class Reeve as the definitive Man of Steel.
So, you can only imagine the look of surprise and joy that would've most likely been plastered on many a Reeves Super-fan's faces during a few rather intriguing frames towards the end of Zack Snyder's Man of Steel.
In what felt like a pretty surreal tribute of sorts in the moment, the face of Cavill's Kal El appears to morph ever so slightly into looking like Reeves' Last Son of Krypton as he tackles General Zod's World Engine head-on.
Truthfully, this is likely little more than a bizarre coincidence. But that still hasn't stopped countless fans from freezing the dramatic moment in an attempt to catch what many thought was a fleeting nod to the late Reeves.
