10 Most Selfish Characters In Horror Movie History
1. Dana And Marty - Cabin In The Woods
This is a hard one because, for the whole movie, Dana and Marty are likeable heroes that manage to be scrappy enough to survive to the end of a horror movie. Yet... what they ultimately choose to do during the final moments of the film, means they end up not only making this list, but topping it.
Dana and Marty are close friends that are tough enough, and wise enough to survive an attack from deadly redneck zombies, figure out a government conspiracy that is trying to kill them and proceed to take down the entire system from the inside.
Then, as the audience is fully dedicated to selling their souls to the badass duo, they're given an ultimatum: kill and sacrifice Marty and let the human race continue unaffected or do nothing and watch as the world implodes around them as ancient Gods tear everyone apart.
They chose the latter.
They may have only made one selfish choice, but it was a tremendously dumb one that starts the apocalypse. That, for sure, takes the cake.
