10 Most Stupid Decisions In Horror Movies

1. Blind Faith In Buttons - Drag Me To Hell

Lions Gate

This one has always been so intensely frustrating that it simultaneously makes and breaks Drag Me To Hell as soon as you realise what's gone down.

After the most dramatic grave digging scene you'll ever witness, where Christine gets to the bottom of the resting place of an old lady that placed a curse on her - avoiding drowning in a flash flood and being bonked on the head by a gravestone no less - she manages to return the simple button that bears the curse that's been plaguing her, effectively ending it once and for all.

Or does she? By shoving a white envelope which she believes to hold the button inside into the woman's mouth, we never actually see this claim come to fruition - and low and behold, it's got a random antique coin in instead. We realise this when her boyfriend reveals the switcheroo and she's sucked into the underworld pretty sharpish.

Really Christine? You didn't think to have one quick peep inside before going to all that trouble to ram it down the throat of a little old dead woman? For a woman that executes a full grave robbing plan, you'd think she'd be better prepared.

Oh well.
