10 Most Terrifying Social Media Horror Movies
1. Like.Share.Follow.

Released in 2017, Like.Share.Follow. is very much a hidden gem that's sadly flown under the radar of the masses in the years since its release.
At the heart of this tale, we have Garret Hoffman (Keiynan Lonsdale), a hugely successful YouTuber who spends his time gaming, making skits, and just generally chewing the vat with his followers. Upon picking up some fanmail and gifts, he meets Shell (Ema Horvath), a mail clerk he immediately has a crush on, and thus gives her his number.
Text messages are exchanged, a fun date is had, and the two end up going back to Garret's and spending the night together. Upon waking up, though, it's only then that Shell reveals herself to be FanGirl22, one of Garret's biggest fans and most frequent streaming contributors. Feeling duped into having sex with someone he never would've before - Garret having always ruled out having a relationship with one of his followers - our social media superstar freaks out and asks Shell to leave.
From there, Garret ponders whether it would be ethical to date a fan, and he does start to warm to Shell again, only for her behaviour to become more intense and erratic. Dead bodies pile up, buildings are burnt down, and Garret's in a race to not only salvage his sabotaged online reputation, but to avoid the murderous intent of his scorned lover.
