10 Most Underrated Lightsaber Duels In Star Wars History
8. Obi-Wan Vs. General Grievous – Revenge Of The Sith
In many ways Revenge of the Sith was the prequel trilogy's best offering, and while that might not be saying too much, it still features a number of thrilling battle scenes.
While Anakin and Obi-Wan's duel on Mustafar is the most iconic featured in Episode III, the fight between Obi-Wan and General Grievous is often overlooked.
A fearsome warlord augmented by cybernetic enhancements, Grievous proved to be a match for many Jedi in the art of lightsaber combat after he was trained by Sith Lord Count Dooku.
When Obi-Wan confronted Grievous in the Outer Rim, the General revealed that he possessed four arms, and a lightsaber for each (weapons he had taken as trophies from the Jedi he'd killed).
It's easy to forget how much trouble Obi-Wan had dispatching Grievous, and the Separatist droids' commander employed every trick imaginable during the duel, making it one of the franchise's more colourful and varied showdowns.
Grievous meets his end in the duel with Kenobi, and while a character with his promise possibly deserved a slightly grander send-off, the scene remains as entertaining today as it was back in 2005.
