3. Car Chat Between Captain America And Black Widow - Captain America: The Winter Soldier
A strong argument could be made that The Winter Soldier is the best movie in the MCU to date; it’s got a cracking story, all the characters get their moment to shine and the action is great too, despite the CGI overload at the end.
Part of what makes it work so well is the relationship between Cap and Black Widow, with the two mismatched partners having to team up to figure out who “killed” Nick Fury. Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson have great chemistry together, and the scene that best displays this is when they’re driving to the secret S.H.I.E.L.D bunker together.
It’s a quiet scene, where she teases him about his kissing technique and he questions who she really is behind the act. The scene shows the differing world views between them but there’s a mutual respect – and a little dose of sexual tension – that shines through. In a movie full of action and surprises, it was nice to slow down for a second and get to know the characters a little too.
