Although this is more of an anthology than a feature-length film, it makes up the same time if you watch it all together. And all three stories are about as uplifting as you can get, here. As the title suggests, each story explores the idea of heroism in many – often unexpected – walks of life.

One tale is a fantasy about underwater creatures fighting for survival, another is a realistic story about a child with an egg allergy, and the final film is a surreal fable about a man who can’t be seen. The fact that such disparate films fit so well together is a testament to Studio Ponoc’s ingenuity.
