10 Most Useless MCU Villains So Far

It’s really expected that any villain that comes into the MCU will lose, that’s just the nature of comic book stories and comic book movies. However, there are few that have lost as many times as Georges Batroc.

First appearing in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Batroc the Leaper tussled with the Star-Spangled Man on board the Lumerian Star and had his ass kicked. He even managed to goad Cap into fighting without his shield, and still he was embarrassed. Clearly, he had more belief in his own abilities than he had any right to.

Many, many years later he returned to the MCU to cross paths with Sam Wilson. At the start of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, he had his plan foiled by Sam as Falcon, which had him hunting for revenge. When he finally had the opportunity to get back at Sam, now Captain America, he lost once again.

Even in the multiverse, Batroc couldn’t catch a break, as Captain Carter kicked his ass in What If…?. Honestly, why keep bringing him back when he has lost every fight he has had in the franchise? He’s a poor villain, and will never offer any real threat to any hero.
