3. The Tank Flip - Sisu: Road to Revenge

Sisu: Road to Revenge is nothing if not a sequel that ratchets up the insanity to 11, taking the heightened action of the original and infusing it with a decidedly cartoonish, almost Looney Tunes-esque wackiness.

The film boasts its fair share of over-the-top mayhem, then, but there's nevertheless one mid-film moment which gets hilariously close to jumping the shark - or more appropriately, jumping the tank.

After Aatami (Jorma Tommila) survives an attack by the Soviet soldiers pursuing him, he makes his way back to shore and finds a derelict tank.

But Aatami doesn't merely get the tank started and drive to the Soviet border checkpoint - his plan is totally extra in the best way.

Once he arrives at the border, Aatami reveals to Draganov (Stephen Lang) and the other waiting soldiers that he's rigged the tank up with dynamite, triggering a massive explosion which catapults the tank over the checkpoint, complete with a balletic flip.

It's completely absurd from a physics perspective, and only scarcely makes sense from Aatami's point-of-view considering how gravely it injures him, but y'know what? Realism is overrated - if you weren't cackling with demented glee at this, you were watching the wrong movie.
