Despite our readiness for battle, we don€™t want to be that band of survivors. You know the ones I mean. The ones that automatically assume any other group is dangerous and thus needs to be killed before they open fire. Similarly, we need to be prepared for the possibility that the other group is bigger, stronger and has a bazooka. Up against that group, we wouldn't stand a chance in a fire fight. This means we need a talker, and Dr King Schultz is exactly the sort of talker we need. He is supremely calm. Calm enough to walk onto a cotton plantation with a black man dressed as Little Lord Fauntleroy. This kind of calm will disarm and confuse any potential attackers. He is also imaginative, able to produce a perfect fiction and sustain it in the face of great danger. So long as we all stay quiet and follow his lead, we€™ll be fine.
