4. Ken (In Bruges)
Most people would find it hard to believe a movie that drops an F-bomb with a ratio exceeding one per minute couldn't also be profound and philosophical. Throw in hit men and Colin Farrell and it'd be even more surprising. But that's what In Bruges is. Despite being a few steps away from killing his old partner himself, Brendan Gleeson's Ken finds himself defending his buddy to the death against their delightfully coarse boss played by Ralph Fiennes. When it seems as if Farrell's Ray might be in big trouble, Ken jumps off of a tower onto the ground below, drawing attention for his friend and supplying him with a firearm in his last moments on earth.
