10 Movie Characters Who Ruined EVERYTHING

The primary antagonist of Skyfall is Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem), a former MI6 agent and cyberterrorist who has a major bone to pick with M (Judi Dench). 

It's later revealed that M previously handed Silva over to the Chinese government after he was caught hacking into their top secret files against orders, Silva being traded to the Chinese in exchange for six captured MI6 agents.

Silva was consequently tortured for five months until he attempted suicide with a cyanide pill, which ultimately only left him gravely disfigured. 

And so, Silva targets M in revenge, his crusade resulting in the deaths of numerous MI6 agents. 

First off, Silva uploads a list of MI6 agents' undercover identities online, causing many of them to be killed as their identities are exposed, and later murders several other agents while detonating a bomb in MI6 HQ.

This is without even mentioning Silva murdering Severine (Bérénice Marlohe) later on or ultimately causing the death of M herself. 

The irony, that M traded Silva to save six MI6 agents, only to effectively tee up the deaths of many more agents decades later, is unmistakable.
