Despite tragic Jack Dawson going to the bottom of the ocean as a big lump of perfectly-coiffed ice, his girlfriend Rose survives because she's selfish with her floating door and goes on to live a long life (to over the age of 100, in fact). Ultimately, she dies of old age, having passed on her story and dropped the Heart Of The Ocean into the sea for some unknown reason and is reunited with the love of her life back on the Titanic.

But Wait...

When Rose gets back to the Titanic, her name is not Rose Dawson. Her name is Rose Calvert, because she married one Mr Calvert and had two children with him. He died prior to 1996 when she visits the Akademik Mstislav Keldysh on its search for the Titanic's lost treasures.

So, she was married to a man for decades and had two children with him and he doesn't get to spend his afterlife with her? You can just see him waiting expectantly at the top of a staircase, unaware that she's already gone back to the time when she was REALLY happy with the man she met for a couple of days when she was young. That's hardly fair on him.
