10 Movie Heroes That Really Suck At Saving People

4. Bond Misses The Mark - Skyfall (2012)

Skyfall MMGMOver the course of 23 films, super spy James Bond has thwarted every kind of villainous plot imaginable. No matter what the odds, Bond always seems to come out on top. The latest Bond film, the excellent Skyfall, portrayed Bond in a different light; instead of a hyper-competent secret agent with luck on his side, Bond transformed into a chronic bungler who always lets people die on his watch. Bond manages to trip over the first hurdle the film throws at him, letting a hard drive with the identities of NATO undercover agents slip into enemy hands. After a lengthy hiatus, Bond gets drawn back into action, ready to return to top people-saving form; except, he doesn€™t. Bond flunks his next hero assignment. A former M16 agent, Raoul Silva, decides to exact revenge on Bond€™s boss, M. After matching wits with the nefarious Silva, Bond decides to make a last stand at his family€™s country estate. Again, Bond screws the pooch: Silva takes his revenge, killing M. While Bond gets an €˜A€™ for effort, he totally struck out. Luckily, Silva€™s villainous plot didn€™t involve a weapon of mass destruction, like a classic Bond villain, or the whole world might have been screwed.
